Nico Misleh is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and the owner and founder of Apollo Health Optimization in Cincinnati, Ohio. Nico has spent his entire career in the field of integrative and functional medicine, and furthermore specialized in functional endocrinology and psychiatry. From treating veterans with PTSD, to caring for pre and post-partum fertility optimization, depression and anxiety, Nico takes an incredibly unique and evidenced-based approach towards mental health pathologies, and finds amazing success in truly treating patients in a holistic model of care. Nico regularly lectures at local universities and for other healthcare practitioners across the spectrum, and enjoys educating and training other nurse practitioner students to create positive outcomes for both their individual patients and their communities at-large.
Dr. Heather Quaile, DNP, WHNP-BC, AFN-C, CSC, IF,FAANP (she/her) is a clinical and academic leader and serial entrepreneur.
A double board certified, women’s health nurse practitioner and advanced forensic nurse specializing in human trafficking and female sexual health. Dr. Quaile is also trained and certified as an AASECT sex counselor and sexual assault nurse examiner providing sexual health education, trauma-informed care, and information to patients of all ages. She created and implemented a medical program for emergency stabilization for commercial sexual exploitation of youth in Georgia. Dr. Quaile has been working in all aspects of women’s healthcare for over 22 years caring for women of all ages across the health-illness continuum and recognized the lack of sexual health awareness not just in her community but in its providers as well and founded, developed, and implemented her private practice The Sexual Health Optimization and Wellness (SHOW) Center. She is passionate about health and wellness and provides a range of services, addressing the biopsychosocial aspects of health, wellness, optimization, and sexuality. Her combined training as a women’s health nurse practitioner and a sex counselor enables her to help patients with every aspect of their concerns as well as using a trauma-informed care framework. She is passionate about changing the systems and beliefs that have stigmatized women’s health and female sexuality through a non-judgmental, empathic approach grounded in evidence-based research. She is widely published in the field of women’s health, trauma-informed care, and regularly lectures to local and national audiences.
She is co-founder for the Sexual Health Medical Certificate Program with The Buehler Institute and maintains an adjunct faculty position at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. She was inducted as a Fellow in 2022 with the America Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has been a member of The International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH) since 2015. She gained designation as a Fellow of ISSWSH and is a peer reviewer for the Journal of Sexual Medicine. She has been awarded the AANP 2021 Excellence in State Practice for Georgia, 2020 Vanderbilt University Clinician of the year, 2021 liveSAFE Woman of the Year award and was appointed to the GA Governor’s Human Trafficking Task Force. She also serves as a planning committee co-chair for the annual NPWH/ISSWSH Sexual Health Course for Nurse Practitioners. She is widely published in the field of women’s health and regularly lectures to local and national audiences and is also heavily involved in legislation and lobbying at the Georgia Capitol on issues affecting advanced nursing practice, human trafficking, and sexual assault.
Patrick Stracuzzi , RN, MSN, FNP-BC, is a highly skilled and compassionate nurse practitioner with over 13 years of experience providing exceptional healthcare services to patients of all ages. With a master's degree in nursing and advanced training in family practice, hospital medicine, pediatrics, telehealth , men’s and women’s health, Peptides, anti-aging, biohacking and weight loss, Patrick has acquired a comprehensive knowledge of medical diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. He owns and operates Stracuzzi Wellness, an integrative practice treating patients in multiple states across the country.
As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Patrick is committed to delivering personalized care to each patient to help them achieve optimal health outcomes. In addition to providing direct patient care, Patrick is an advocate for his patients and works to improve healthcare access and quality. He stays up-to-date with the latest advances in healthcare and implements evidence-based practices to ensure the highest standards of care. He uses many of the Elite NP principles, which has helped achieve the highest career satisfaction.
In his spare time, Patrick enjoys spending time with his family. He enjoys outdoor activities, music, and is an exercise fanatic and biohacker.
Cassie Lane is the co-creator of the Elite NP Aesthetics Course. She is the founder and co-owner Injectables EDU, an injectables training community. She brings her experience in patient care to the world of aesthetics. Cassie prioritizes client education before beginning treatments and focuses on collaboration to produce beautiful and natural-looking results. Injectables EDU focuses on high quality education for medical professionals with the most up-to-date injection techniques.
Joe Flores is a nurse practitioner and a trial attorney. Mr. Flores has practiced in both state and federal court on civil and criminal matters. His practice also includes representing nurses and other health care professionals in peer review and state board hearings for over two decades. Mr. Flores is a nationwide lecturer and author of articles including topics such as health care fraud, the field of legal nurse consulting and other areas where nursing and the law overlap. Mr. Flores has tried dozens of cases on administrative, civil and criminal matters and has defended nurses accused of crimes including but not limited to assault, drunken driving, drug possession and theft. He also defends nurse whistleblowers and coordinates advocacy with federal and governmental agencies. Mr. Flores has also consulted on cases in many jurisdictions when nurses or other health care providers and their attorneys require assistance. Mr. Flores also represents several home health and hospice companies.
After obtaining an MSN from the University of Mississippi School of Nursing, Jenni worked in a variety of settings, caring for very complex patients, including an internal medicine practice and three different FQHC's in 2 different states. She has presented at the MS Nurses Association State NP Conference, the Alaska NP Association Conference, and the Nebraska NP Association Conference. In 2019, Jenni opened a house call practice and was just getting it off the ground, when the pandemic shut things down. Quickly transitioning to a virtual/telehealth practice, Jenni has built avery successful business with a focused specialty niche, targeting metabolic dysfunction, insulin resistance, hypothyroidism, PCOS/infertility, hormone management, and a variety of related health care issues, with the goal of health optimization of her patients. Using specific lab tests, Jenni & the Joyful Heart team work with a multitude of patients from various states, teaching a philosophy of health care grounded in nutrient density and optimization of hormones and specific nutritional markers. Jenni has worked with Justin to produce the House Calls, Functional Nutrition, and the Advanced Women's Hormone Courses.
